Morse Code was named after one of its early developers in the 1830s, Samuel Morse. Later evolving into the global standard International Morse Code. Through arrangements of dots, dashes and spaces; the letters of the alphabet, numerals and punctuation are represented. This code can be sent as a message via electrical pulses, known as electrical telegraphy, or by signals like flashing lights. These pulses and signals vary in length, with dashes three times the duration of a dot. Spaces between each dot and dash, letter and word also differ in duration. The coded message in this series of cards is a great talking point and a challenge to decypher.
